City and school officials from Auburn gather on the grounds of Edward Little High School last week for to officially break ground on construction of the new high school. The crowd included elected officials, students, faculty, city staff and residents. Superintendent Cornelia Brown, Auburn Mayor Jason Levesque, School Committee Chair Karen Mathieu, EHLS Principal Scott Annear and Freshman Class President Amalie Oinonen addressed the crowd. “We are thrilled to be moving forward with an innovative, thoughtfully designed school that will meet the needs of our community and serve the children of Auburn for generations to come,” Brown said.
