To the Editor:

On May 22, Boy Scout Troop 130 of South Paris held a Pack-the-Tent food drive at Walmart in Oxford. The troop was amazed at the generosity of the members of our community. The Scouts collected three vehicles full of food donations and many people offered a cash donation totaling $1,000! All of the donations went directly to the Oxford Hills Food Pantry in Norway. The Troop would like to thank Walmart for allowing us to set up our tent at their store and thank you to our community for being so generous and making the food drive so successful.
