Steven G. Bell

AUBURN – Steven G. Bell, 57, formerly of Lewiston, died Tuesday afternoon June 8, 2021 at Bolster Heights Nursing Home. He was born in Laconia, N.H. on Sept. 10, 1963, one of three children born to Benoit and Lorraine (Therrien) Bell.

Steve was educated in Lewiston schools and graduated from Lewiston High School with the class of 1981. Following high school, he attained his Associate’s Degree in computers from Andover College. Steve worked many years in computer programming and most recently spent the last nine years of his career as a Computer Aided Design Programmer for Bath Iron Works.

Among his favorite enjoyments in his free time were listening to music, especially Pink Floyd, going for long car rides and watching movies. Steve also considered himself a bit of a “foodie,” as he liked to try new and different foods and could appreciate finer foods as well. Steve was a loving, devoted and hardworking son, brother and uncle who will be dearly missed.

He leaves behind his sister Marlene Whitman of Lisbon Falls; his niece Randi Edmonds and husband Josh of Lisbon and their daughter Alia Edmonds, his nephew Kyle Whitman of Lisbon Falls; and his brother Greg Bell of Lewiston. He was predeceased by his parents Ben and Lorraine Bell.

Visitation Fortin / LEWISTON Fri. 2-4 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 4 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will take place at a later date at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to The Fortin Group Funeral and Cremation Service, 70 Horton St. Lewiston, 784-4584.
