LEWISTON — The Public Theatre, in partnership with Lewiston Parks and Recreation, plans to offer one-week theatre camps in July for children ages 8 to 14.

Led by professional theatre artists, these newly-devised camps provide aspiring artists with a creative and engaging environment to explore theatre, develop self-confidence and collaborate with others.

Participation is limited, and face coverings are required for all participants. Individuals will be encouraged to follow social distancing whenever possible.

Theatre Camp will be offered from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 19-23 at Lewiston Middle School, 75 Central Ave. The cost is $175.

Musical Theatre will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 26-30 at Lewiston Middle School, 75 Central Ave. The cost is $175. Youths can explore musical theatre in a fun, creative and engaging way while they study voice and acting, and learn choreography from their favorite musicals.
