PARIS — A representative of Maine Machine Products Co. will come before the Planning Board next week seeking permission to expand its office area.
The plan would add 4,730 square feet and is estimated to cost $333,050, said Mike Gotto of Stonebrook Land Use Inc., who performed the project and site design and will present the plan Wednesday.
Paris Code Enforcement Officer Richard Maguire said the plan would add five jobs and the company would lose one parking space at the plant on Prospect Avenue.
“I see this as a plus for the town,” Maguire said.
Maine Machine Products’ last expansion occurred in 2001, Maguire said.
The company manufactures machined components and assemblies in the aerospace and defense, semiconductor, and general industrial sectors. Roland L. Sutton founded Maine Machine Products Co. in 1956. On April 2, 2020, the company was purchased by Pine Island Capital Partners of New York, Bain Capital Credit of Boston and Compass Partners Capital of Stamford, Conn.
