Republican politicians across the country are tearing our country apart in their bid for power. It’s not even power for themselves so much as to continue the power of the people who donate to them.

Just how greedy does one need to be to sell out their own country and continue the control of the wealthy over middle- and lower-class Americans?

There is little that liberals of all stripes can do to combat such organized greed. The defense of our nation and our freedoms rest with conservative-minded voters, and let’s hope they stand up to the challenge.

The defiance must be led by Republican voters who love their country and its capabilities, and can see the truth beyond all political norms. They must know that their party has filed bill after bill to start voter-suppression policies nationwide because these politicians fear college students, people of color, and voters in big cities.

Will we be the ones whose vote is “restricted” next year? What kind of democracy takes away its citizens’ right to speak for themselves?

The GOP banks on fear and anxiety to motivate their voters, but the party is spreading fear of itself by its willingness to legislate against, and then ignore, the common man.

Again and again voters are asking themselves, “What have Republicans done for me?,” and are flabbergasted when the answer is, “Nothing.”
