WEST PARIS – Ricky E. Chase, 74, of West Paris passed away on Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at his home with his wife, Linda, and his dog, Huckleberry, by his side.

Rick was born June 10, 1947, the son of Everett and Marian (Dede) Chase. Rick was a lifetime resident of West Paris, graduating from West Paris High School in 1966. He spent years working in manufacturing at Cornwall’s, Paris Manufacturing, Penley Mills, C. B. Cummings and Saunders.

He married Linda Young on Aug. 5, 1972. They enjoyed gardening and road trips to Vermont and spending time with their grandchildren. Rick had a passion for the outdoors; hunting, fishing and trapping with family.

Rick is survived by his wife, Linda; his dog, Huckleberry; his mother, Marian Chase; two sons, Chad and wife Bobbi-Jo and Ricky and wife Melissa; five grandchildren, Keegan, Nick, Gable, Luke and Xenon; a brother, Randy Chase and wife Wendy; a sister, Rachel Ruokolainen and husband Nestor; and several nieces and nephews.

Rick was predeceased by his father, Everett Chase; and his beloved dog, Blue.

The family wishes to thank Dr. T. Finley and staff, Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice, nurse Andrea Farrington; his brother Randy Chase; and Sully Poland and family.
