SABATTUS — The Sabattus Rec Club Running Program will be holding two free, one-hour training sessions designed to help middle and high school-aged students learn how to run better. The Running for Any Sport program will be held on Saturday, July 31 on the Oak Hill High School football field in Wales.

The first session will start at 9 a.m. for middle school students from the Oak Hill area and will be followed at 10 a.m. by the high school students. The sessions are open to both boys and girls.
These will not be specific sport coaching sessions, and no personal training will be offered. Regardless of the sport, though, there will be helpful information for all athletes. Among other things, participants will learn warm-up and balance tips, running efficiency, breathing exercises, workout suggestions, and cooldown methods.

In the event of inclement weather, the sessions will be held at a later date in August.
Attendees should wear a good pair of running shoes, bring hydration and a towel or blanket, and be prepared to run. For more information, email: running@sabattusrec.com
