DEAR SUN SPOTS: The Edward Little High School Class of 1970 is holding its 50-year class reunion Oct. 10. Due to COVID-19 we had to postpone the event for a year. The weekend will include a time to mix and mingle at Jen Lynch’s house Oct. 9 from 7 to 10 p.m.

Reunion evening will be held at Spring Meadows Golf Course on Oct. 10 from 5 to 10:30 p.m. The evening will include happy hour, a buffet dinner, music and dancing. Tickets are $50 per person. Contact Jen Lynch at jenlynch51@gmail.com for more information and a digital invitation. — Jen, no town

ANSWER: Remember, all class reunion organizers who are looking for classmates, Sun Spots can help you find them. One of my favorite things about this column is how so many people (who know other people) help long-lost friends reconnect. It’s simply a beautiful thing to be part of!

DEAR SUN SPOTS: I am looking for someone who breeds goldendoodle dogs in Maine. I’m especially interested in personal recommendations from owners. I read Sun Spots every day so please write in and I will see it. — No name, no town

ANSWER: I don’t blame you for wanting one. They are so adorable. Cuddledoodes in Jay (cuddledoods.com, cuddledoods@gmail.com) breeds and raises both standard goldendoddles and labradoodles.

Another option is Stonybrook Goldendoodles in Lovell (stonybrookgoldendoodles.com). There is a contact form on the website.

So Lucky Farm in Norridgewock (soluckyfarmgoldendoodles.com, soluckyfarm@gmail.com) also has the breed of dog you’re looking for.

Readers, if you’re a goldendoodle owner, I would love to hear from you about your experiences with your breeder and your pup!

DEAR SUN SPOTS: I really like singer Susan Boyle from “Britain’s Got Talent” and have some of her CDs. Is she still singing and entertaining? And how old is she? — No name, Mechanic Falls

ANSWER: I really like Susan, too. Not only does she have an incredible voice, but she’s just an amazingly sweet and humble person.

Susan is 60, still working and very much in the limelight after she became famous on the third season of “Britain’s Got Talent” in 2009. She has learned to play the piano, and in spite of having her diagnosis of Asperger’s Syndrome, she has accomplished many great things, including performing for Queen Elizabeth’s Diamond Jubilee Pageant and singing with some of her idols such as Donny Osmond.

Boyle’s eighth studio album, “Ten,” was released May 31, 2019, and features a duet with Michael Ball on the track “A Million Dreams”.

In my mind, Scotland has a national treasure in this talented woman. She has a website, susanboylemusic.com, if you want to learn more about her.
