NORWAY — The Cancer Resource Center of Western Maine, previously housed at 199 Main Street, on the Stephens Memorial Hospital (SMH) campus, has relocated to 59 Winter Street, former site of the SMH Human Resources Department.

“We are excited to have the opportunity to remain on the SMH campus so that we will still be located close to the SMH Oncology clinic,” said Diane Madden, Executive Director of the Cancer Resource Center of Western Maine. “This building provides the opportunity for larger meeting space for support groups, private consultation areas, staff offices, a dedicated room for patients to use for creative arts, and a meditation room for patients to hopefully find a moment of peace during their cancer journey.”

“The Cancer Resource Center of Western Maine provides an important service to our patients and community.  We are so grateful for the work that they do and delighted to have the Center conveniently located on our Norway campus,” shares, Andrea Patstone, President of Stephens Memorial Hospital.

Currently, CRCofWM staff continue to meet with patients by appointment, however they hope to resume weekly drop-in hours and on-site activities sometime in July.
