BRIDGTON — Loon Alert: 47 stunning loons have landed at Gallery 302 on 112 Main Street in Bridgton. These beloved symbols of Maine’s beauty and wildlife have been recreated by Gallery 302 artists with an impressive variety of materials, colors and designs, as well as many traditional impressions. The auction is this year’s major fundraiser and main summer event for the nonprofit arts co-operative organization.

The 2021 “Loons on the Run” Art Auction will be available for your bidding online July 29. You can view these exquisite loons, with expressive names like “Highland Queen,” “Lakeside Lady,” and “Puttin’ on the Ritz,” at the Gallery or online at gallery302auction.com. The website has a collective of stills and videos of each loon and designing artist.

Paddle online registration for the auction began June 29. Visitors can bid online for their favorite loon (s) from July 29 through August 7.
