The “Music for Mavis” concert series will feature The Maggie Coffin and Robby Coffin combo from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 20, at the Gazebo at 98 Mathews Way, in Turner Center.

Maggie got her start in 2008 playing with her dad Robby at Higher Grounds Coffee House. She then began performing with The Nutopians (formerly the John Lennon Song Project) up and down the east coast. She will be backed by her dad on guitar and Dave Thibodeau on bass, and Alfred Lund on percussion.

Robby Coffin has recorded and toured with such notable artists as Peter Paul and Mary, Jeff Pevar, Dave Mallett and Devonsquare.

Thibodeau, hailing from Providence, Rhode Island, was a prodigy tutored by his touring-bluegrass musician father and his concert violinist grandfather. In his travels around New England, Thibodeau has opened for and played with Mose Allison, Chubby Checker and Levon Helm and The Band, to name a few.

Alfred Lund is a musician, drum-maker, and healer. He understands the world around him in terms of rhythm, movement, and connection. Lund is a sought after percussionist, frequently found accompanying musician Heather Pierson.

A $10 donations is suggested.
