First annual collector plates commemorating Winthrop’s 225th birthday are on the way! Hand-made and sporting Winthrop’s colors, these deep plates feature the Winthrop sign and a patch of lovely irises. Production will be limited to 50 plates. Mary K. Spencer of the Potter’s House will be demonstrating how they are made on the sidewalk at Apple Valley Books. Ten percent of the proceeds will be donated by Mary K. to the Winthrop Village Merchant’s Guild’s project fund, including the Winthrop Summer Games.

The material used in Looking Back is produced exactly as it originally appeared although misspellings and errors may be corrected.
