Lillian May Flagg

JAY – Lillian May Flagg, 78, a resident of Jay, passed away Monday, July 19th at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 8, 1943 in Farmington, the daughter of Willard Norton Jackson and Minnie Marry (Perry) Jackson. On September 19, 1959 in Farmington, she married her longtime sweetheart, William C. Flagg. She devoted her time to her family and her home and also owned and operated Lil’s Little Tot Shop and Low Budget Depot. Lillian volunteered at Jay Head Start as a driver and assistant in the classrooms. She enjoyed cooking and camping at Dummer’s Beach in Weld. She is survived by her husband William C. Flagg, Sr. of Jay, her children, William Flagg, Jr. and wife Cindy of Arkansas, John Flagg and wife Jayne of Jay, David Flagg of Jay, Michelle Corkum and husband Kent of Arkansas, Tony Flagg and wife Kelly of Livermore Falls, and Darlene Bates and husband Paul of Livermore Falls; 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, brothers, Willard N. Jackson, Jr. and wife Linda of Lewiston, George Jackson and wife Sylvia of Alaska, Raymond Jackson and wife Joan of Minot, and Richard Jackson and wife Jeannie of Wilton, sisters, Ramona Hale and husband Bill of Florida, Theresa Violette of Buckfield, Betty Tripp and husband Gary of Auburn, Linda Chretien and husband Jim of Livermore Falls, and Joanne Jackson of Mechanic Falls. She was predeceased by her parents, son Larry Flagg and sisters Marcia Chretien, Juanita Lagasse and Murial Clark. Messages of condolence may be sent to: http://www.finleyfuneralhome.com. A funeral service will be held 12PM, Sunday, July 25th at FINLEY FUNERAL HOME, 15 Church Street, Livermore Falls, Maine. Visitation will be from 11AM to 12PM prior to the funeral service.
