NORWAY — The Second Congregational Church, United Church of Christ, will hold a giant indoor yard sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 31, at 205 Main St.

Well known for its giant annual outdoor yard sale in August, this past year has presented a unique challenge. The COVID/post-COVID solution has been a series of smaller sales.  The community continues to be very generous with its donations. In early July, the church received an entire houseful of furniture.

Everything for sale is clean, in good working order and reasonably priced. There will be many decorations, holiday gifts, small appliances, linens, dishes, cookware, household items, antiques, kids toys, sporting goods, tools and furniture.

The items are spaced in the church basement so that workers and shoppers can maintain a social distance. All are required to wear masks.

Gloves and hand sanitizer will be provided. Only a limited number of shoppers are able to shop at a time.

The money raised will be used for the many missions of the community church, including the free drive-through supper, online and in-person worship service, Bible study, knitting, book groups and more.
