No Rhyme

I will not make this poem of

mine to rhyme.

Not a single word will end

the same.

I have made-up my mind to

do it that way.

Too much to worry about

making it rhyme.

I will not make this poem of

mine to rhyme.

I will write it in my own old

style.

Whoever reads this poem will

be perplexed.

They will read it and question

why no rhyme.

I will not make this poem of

mine to rhyme.

There are no words to make

it a poem.

Not to worry about what word

goes with this and that.

This is the end; and there is

no rhyme.
