Treat Memorial Library, 56 Main St. in Livermore Falls, is now open without requiring an appointment.

Library staff requests that patrons still wear masks to protect those who have not been vaccinated, are unable to be vaccinated, or are otherwise medically vulnerable. The library requests visits be limited to 30 minutes if possible, and curbside service will still be available.

There’s still time in August to view all the “Mystery of the Cat Burglar” clues and enter the library’s drawing for book basket prizes. Clues are available at the library, on the Facebook page, through the library’s email newsletter list, and on its Beanstack service (treat.beanstack.org). Submit answers to the mystery by Saturday, Aug. 14 to enter the drawing.

Online Story Time is set for every Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. on the library’s Facebook page.

The online book recommendation program, Bonkers for Books, will be posted Saturday, Aug. 7, and Saturday, Aug. 21.

The Zoom Book Club is to meet at 3 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 12. The Books About Books theme continues with “Mr. Penumbra’s 24 Hour Bookstore” by Robin Sloan, a modern day fable with elements of mystery and fantasy. Contact the library for a copy of the book up for discussion and the Zoom link for the meeting.

Call the Library at 207-897-3631 for questions or more information.

Patrons can log in to their account and access the 3M Cloud Library through https://treat.biblionix.com/atoz/catalog.
