Paul G. Ouellette Sr.

LEWISTON – Paul G.
Ouellette Sr., aka Mr. Fixit, 74, passed away on June 24, 2021. Paul was the son of Gilbert and Lillian Ouellette, born on Jan. 25,1947.

He worked at Rodrigue Upholstery where he became a master of the art. He sure did turn heads in his car that was upholstered not only inside but outside as well. He later worked at Falcon Shoe for many years mastering several jobs.

He married the love of his life Nancy on July 5, 1969. They had three children. He enjoyed cars, especially fast ones. He enjoyed being home with his dog Mitten. He used to love “puttering around the house” and fixing things. He enjoyed the many homemade treats his wife would bake for him. He had a quick wit and sense of humor right through to the end. When you saw his grin, you knew his wheels were turning.

Paul is survived by his wife of 52 years Nancy, sister, Lorraine Duguay and husband Francis; three children, Paul JR and wife Nicole, Michael and fiancé Wendy, Kathy and husband Travis; grandchildren, Travis and wife Autumn, Chase, Branden, Katrina, Blake, and Zander; great-grandchildren Emma and Bentley; and many loving nieces and nephews. Paul was predeceased by parents Gilbert and Lillian; and brothers John and Roy.

Funeral mass will be Saturday, July 31, at 1 p.m. at St Peter and Paul basilica, upstairs immediately followed by a celebration of life.
