KINGSFIELD — The Maine Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame will be honoring the Class of 2021 on Saturday, Oct. 16 at Sugarloaf in the King Pine Room.

The Class of 2021 includes: Roger Arsenault, director of alpine racing operations and Nordic programs at Black Mountain; Liz Carey-Butera, three-time NCAA Nordic champion and former US Ski Team member; Virginia “Ginny” Bousum — certified PSIA ski instructor for over 50 years and race official for 40-plus years; Harvey & Laura Boynton, ski shop owners and real estate developers at Sugarloaf; Mike Chasse, Alpine ski racer, member of the Maine Elite Ski Team, Director at Big Rock Ski area and ski instructor; George Gagnon, manager at Dunham’s Trading Post, member of the US Army Ski Troops and cut trails at Sugarloaf; Scott Hoisington, ski racer and former head coach and Alpine Operation Director at University of Maine-Farmington; Hazen McMullen VP/Operations manager at Sugarloaf installed the mountains first snowmaking system, Director/manager of Piston Bully Inc.’s USA operations.

The Maine Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame will also be inducting the 2020 class on Friday Oct. 15 also in the King Pine Room. The 2020 inductees include Harold Bondeson, Franklin “Chip” Carey, Richard “Dick” Forster, Robert “Bobcat” Miller, Peter Smith, Greg Voisin, Larry Warren and Marcia White.
