POLAND — In its Aug. 21 community service night, Excelsior Grange granted awards to Poland’s three legislators — Rep. Jessica Faye, Rep. Amy Arata and Sen. Ned Claxton — for having met in person in Augusta during the pandemic to carryout the state’s business.

The Grange felt that Poland was well represented by these individuals. Claxton was the only Legislator able to attend to discuss issues important to Grange members. Claxton was praised for his work on prescription drug prices and medical billing.
