WEST PARIS — The Finnish American Heritage Society of Maine will hold its monthly meeting September 19 at 2 p.m. A short business meeting will be followed by a program provided by Tooty Wilson and Karen Bennett who will share their experience at a Finnish cooking class by The Two Finnish Cooks, The public is invited to attend.

NORWAY — A Giant Indoor Yard Sale is planned for  Saturday, September 18 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Second Congregational Church, United Church of Christ, 205 Main Street, Norway.
Drying/freezing

STATE — University of Maine Cooperative Extension will offer an online class on dehydrating and freezing for food preservation from 6–7:30 p.m., on Sept. 23.

Learn how to safely preserve foods by blanching and freezing, or by using a food dehydrator. Freezing instructions and a dehydration food guide will be emailed following the webinar.
