To the Editor:

I think that the performance by the Mamadou Band, the beautifully lit garden, and the delicious food at this year’s Garden Illuminated event at the McLaughlin Garden was wonderful.

The staff and volunteers put so much work into the event to help raise money to keep the Garden open and to support all of their free or low-cost events for the community.

I can’t wait for next year’s Garden Illuminated and I hope everyone who missed it this year will be able to come out and support the Garden next year.
