MONMOUTH — Averie Silva scored two goals, while Katie Beck and Ella Wright each added goals to lead the undefeated Monmouth Academy Mustangs to a 4-0 win over the Spruce Mountain Phoenix in girls soccer on Tuesday.

Elsa Goebel-Bain had an assist for Monmouth (4-0-0). Emma Towers made 13 saves for Spruce Mountain (2-2-0).

NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 6, ST. DOMINIC 1: The Panthers scored twice in the game’s first six minutes and added four second half goals in a 20-minute span to beat the Saints in Yarmouth.

Just 80 seconds into the game, Angel Hutsman headed home Maggie Holt’s corner kick to put the Panthers (4-0) ahead to stay. Jazzy Huntsman then made it 2-0, finishing a pass from Michala Wallace.

NYA was frustrated by St. Dom’s freshman goalkeeper Anna Theriault (33 saves) the rest of the half and into the second, but with 22 minutes to go, Emily Robbins scored from Vy Tran for a 3-0 advantage.

The Saints (0-3) answered on a breakaway goal from Natalie Brocke, but Wallace, Robbins and Angel Huntsman added late scores to finish it off.

GARDINER 2, LEAVITT 0: Lainey Cooley scored both Tigers (1-1) goals in a win over the Hornets (1-2) in Turner
Maiya Shaw had an assist for Gardiner and Lorelei Mason made 18 saves in goal.

Carlie Leavitt stopped six shots for the Hornets.

OAK HILL 14, DIRIGO 0: Gabby Chessie scored three times and had two assists in the Raiders (2-0) win over the Cougars (0-2) in Wales.

Aubrey McElhaney scored twice, while Amara Denis and Kendall Theriault each had a goal and two assists. Paige Gonya, Emily Dillman, Kendall Gervais, Jasmyne Strout, Lexie Finn and Ryleigh Davis each had a goal and an assist. Madison Drew had a goal.

Paige Gonyea and Mackenzie Vattaso did not have to make in a save for Oak Hill.

Lauretta Woodhead made 16 saves and Jaycie Holmquist stopped 11 shots for Dirigo.

BUCKFIELD 8, TELSTAR 0: Isabell Laughton notched a hat trick and had an assist for the Bucks (1-2) in the win against the Rebels (0-1) in Buckfield.

Brittany Carrier chipped in with two goals and three assists, while Cora Brewster had two goals. Mya Austin had a goal. Ruby Cyr made three saves.

Morgan Zetts made eight saves in the first half for Telstar, while Mackenzie Elliot stopped 13 shots in the second half.

GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 4, POLAND 2: Brooke Martin and Ellie Schlicting each scored a goal and Martin and West Duffy each recorded assists in the Patriots’ victory over the Knights in Gray.

Gabrielle Bolduc kicked in both goals for Poland, and Angelina Nason set up both of Bolduc’s goals.

Gray-NG goalie Isa Ross made two saves.

BOYS SOCCER
NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 5, ST. DOMINIC 0: Chas Rohde two goals and Daxton St. Hilaire added a goal and an assist as the Panthers (3-1) handled the Saints (0-2) at Auburn.

Chad Beaufils and Brayden Warde also scored. Wyatt Thomas and Matt Powers had two assists each.

EDWARD LITTLE 2, MT. ARARAT 1: The Red Eddies’ two-goal outburst in the second half allowed the them to shake off the Eagles in Auburn.

Campbell Cassidy and Shaheen Ekal each picked up a goal for Edward Little, and Cassidy collected an assist. Mohamed Adow also had an assist for the Eddies.

Mt. Ararat’s Sebastian Varela scored in the last minute of a physical game. Edward Little goalie Eli St. Laurent made 11 saves.

FIELD HOCKEY
LEAVITT 7, WATERVILLE 0: Emma Beady punched in pair of goals and Kaylee Bellmore collected two assists in Leavitt’s victory over the Purple Panthers in Turner.

Cierra Barker, Ava Gagnon, Sophia Visconti, Eve Martineau and Maddie Morin also scored for Leavitt, which outshot Waterville 23-0.

BRUNSWICK 2, EDWARD LITTLE 1: Amelia Donsbach scored both goals on feeds from Kelsey Sullivan and Ava Wolverton, allowing the Dragons to shake off the Red Eddies in Auburn.

Donsbach goals came in the second and third quarters. Edward Little’s Leah Thibodeau scored her unassisted goal in the fourth quarter.

Mt. Ararat goalie Ahavah Burch made three saves.

WOMEN’S SOCCER
BATES 1, HUSSON 1, TIE:  Molly Ennis put in the rebound of a free kick from Edie Shea in the 55th minute to break a scoreless tie for the Eagles (2-2-1), but Elizabeth Patrick countered with an unassisted goal in the 70th as the Bobcats (1-1-1) settled for a draw at Bangor.

Kat Nuckols stopped seven shots for Bates, while Hannah Kenney had six saves for Husson.

COLLEGE FIELD HOCKEY
BOWDOIN 3, BATES 1: Abby Bashaw put away a feed from Beth Koeller with 5:27 to go in the third quarter to break a 1-1 tie and lead the Polar Bears (2-1, 1-1 NESCAC) past the Bobcats (1-2, 0-2) at Brunswick.

Bailey Prete opened the scoring for Bowdoin on a Faith Jennings pass in the first quarter, but Bates pulled even 38 seconds into the third on an unassisted goal from Caroline Brady.

Jennings added an insurance goal from Bashaw in the fourth quarter.
