Together we stand; divided we fall. Looks like we are very divided.

Rome fell when people saw that they could get free stuff from the government, and now it is happening, big time, in the U.S.A.

I remember, as a kid, my parents refusing to go on welfare. They were proud of working their way out of poverty. They were not alone, because very many other people felt the same way. If you could not pay for it, you didn’t get it. The concept of buy now and pay later never entered their minds.

I am writing about the 1940s through the 1960s. The flower child rose up in the ’60s and dominates the generation that is running the country now. It all sounded so good. The reality was and is a recipe for the collapse of our society.

Many like to play the victim and cry out for welfare as their birthright. These people are willing to give up their freedom for government care. We will no longer be free as we are losing our freedom very quickly.

I am 80 years old and will be gone when the complete collapse of the U.S.A. comes. I cry for my children and grandchildren.
