Patricia “ Patty” (Bell) White

LEWISTON – Patricia “ Patty” (Bell) White, 81, of Lewiston was called to eternal rest on Sept. 21, 2021 after a six year courageous battle with ovarian cancer. Born in Lewiston on August 16, 1940 to Ralph and Beatrice (Marcoux) Bell, she was the last to survive of four children.

Patty attended Lewiston Schools and graduated from Lewiston High School class of 1958 where she met and married the love of her life of 62 years, Walter White.

Together they raised 3 boys, Aaron, Glen and Randy. Residing in Worcester for 40 years, working several clerical jobs while spending the summers lakeside at the families camp had become a tradition and time well spent, surrounded by family and lifelong friends.

Patty was predeceased by two of her beloved boys, Aaron and Randy; and a granddaughter, Danielle.

She is survived by her loving husband Walter; her son Glen and his wife Denise, daughter-in-law Christina (King) White married to Glen Jameson; four grandsons; her loving sister-in-law Martha; and many nieces and nephews, whom loved her dearly.

Patty’s pride and joys were her grandchildren Benjamin, Jack, Kyle and Aaron Jr. Being surrounded by family and spending time “upptacamp” brought the most joy to Patty.

Much gratitude to all that cared for her, Dr. LaChance at Scarborough Cancer Center and The Dempsey Center where she volunteered.

Visitation will be held Monday, Sept. 27, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.. An in house service will start at 12 p.m. with a committal at Gracelawn Memorial park following.
