LIVERMORE FALLS — Firefighters helped two workers cleaning inside the ReEnergy biomass plant Thursday after they became stranded when one side of an electric scaffolding stopped working, Assistant Fire Rescue Chief Tyler Poulin said.
The workers were about 35 feet up in harnesses and had rappelling ropes but their extension ladder was about 5 feet too short, he said.
Firefighters used the department’s extension ladder to get the workers down, Poulin said.
