I am pleased and excited to endorse Dana Staples in his run for the at-large council position in Auburn.
I have worked with Dana for several years now, first as a member of the Complete Streets Committee, then this year, the Comprehensive Plan Update Group. Dana has chaired this group, tackling serious and important discussions about the future of our community.
I can say without a doubt that Dana understands what we can do to provide lasting prosperity for Auburn in a fiscally sound manner. He works diligently and consistently, working through differences of opinion patiently and effectively.
I am convinced that Dana will apply everything he’s learned thus far in his significant dedication to public service, and will consider the various ideas and challenges that are sure to be brought to the council in coming years. I ask residents to join me in voting for Dana for City Council.
