BETHEL — Emily Woods scored twice for Dirigo (10-2-1), lifting the Cougars to a 3-1 win against Telstar (0-12) in an MVC field hockey contest on Wednesday.

Alyssa Ellis also scored while Jaye Brophy had two assists. Alyvia Ellis only needed to make one save.

Maya Taylor scored for the Rebels and EB Hoff made 22 saves.

LAKE REGION 3, POLAND 1: Sadie Tirrell scored twice for the Lakers (5-6-1) in a WMC win over the Knights (2-12) in Poland.

Ashley Pelletier also scored for Lake Region. Lakers goalie Reiyn Hart made three saves.

Poland’s Khloe O’Leary scored in the fourth quarter, assisted by Sydney Lacombe. Emma Moreau had seven saves for the Knights.

MOUNTAIN VALLEY 4, LISBON 0: Mallorie Bourret scored twice and had an assist for the Falcons (10-2-1) in a win over the Greyhounds (5-7-1) in Rumford.

Autumn Freeman had a goal and an assist while Taylor Duguay also had a goal. Alana Young and Abby Jones each had an assist. Brooke Brown only needed to make two saves.

Maria Levesque made 15 saves for Lisbon.

ST. DOMINIC 4, TRAIP ACADEMY 0: Bella Pelletier scored twice to pace the Saints (11-0) to a win over the Rangers (0-10-1) in Kittery.

Lorelei Bonney and Julianne Cook each added a goal. Bella Perryman, Emily Andrews and Abbie Mitchell were credited with one assist apiece.

St. Dom’s goalie Pilar Hewey made one save.

WINTHROP 4, HALL-DALE 0: Maddie Perkins and Bella Littler each had a pair of goals as the Ramblers broke open a close game to get the MVC win in Farmingdale and finish their regular season undefeated at 14-0.

Izzy Folsom and Madeline Wagner both had assists, while Elle Folsom got the win in net.

Kelsey Cormier made 19 saves for the Bulldogs (3-7-2), who held Winthrop to one goal through three periods. Lizzy Bickford also played well for Hall-Dale.

CAPE ELIZABETH 5, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 0: Kaitlyn McIntyre scored twice, and Abbie Homicz, Camden Woods and Grace Gray each added a goal for the Capers (10-1-1) in a win over the Patriots (3-9) in Gray.

LEAVITT 3, MORSE 0: Logan Berube scored twice to lift the Hornets (5-5-2) past the Shipbulders (0-11-1) in Turner.

Connor Grant also scored, and Ian Redstone, Kaden Trenoweth and Garrett Gaudin each had an assist. Myles Hanscom stopped two shots for the shutout.

Morse keeper Quentin Webster made 11 saves.

MT. ABRAM 16, DIRIGO 0: Kaden Pillsbury, Morgan Thibodeau and Sam Cockerham each had a hat trick in the Roadrunners’ (10-0-2) win over the Cougars (1-10) in Dixfield.

Jose Torres and Cam Walters had two goals each. Charlie Pye, Angelo Gerardi and Kyle Presby also scored. Ian Allen and Angelo Gerardi each had a save in the game.

Loegan Hodgkins had four saves and Trent Hutchinson stopped six shots while splitting time in net for Dirigo.

GIRLS SOCCER
OLD ORCHARD BEACH 4, ST. DOMINIC 1:  Elise MacNair’s hat trick led the Seagulls (8-4) past the Saints (2-9) in Auburn.

Camryn Blatchford also scored for OOB, and Tessa Ferguson notched two assists. Seagulls keeper Summer St. Louis made four saves.

St. Dom’s got a goal from Natalie Brocke early in the second half. Anna Theriault turned away nine shots.

MADISON 4, MOUNTAIN VALLEY 0: Raegan Cowan scored all four goals for the Bulldogs (7-3) in a win against the Falcons (5-6) in Rumford.

Arabel Linkletter had eight saves in the win.

Justice Gendron made 18 saves for Mountain Valley.

MT. BLUE 6, LEWISTON 1: Eryn Parlin scored two goals to tie the program record for points in a season as the Cougars (8-3-1) cruised past the Blue Devils (0-11-1) in Lewiston.

Parlin’s 16th and 17th goals of the season gave her 41 points for the year, equaling the mark Eryn Doiron set in 2015.

Meren Zeliger also scored two goals, KK Daggett had a goal and an assist and Callahan Towle scored the other goal, while Emma Dunn notched two assists and Nellie Wotten and Grace Bell each had one.

Leah Landry scored a first-half goal for Lewiston.

WOMEN’S SOCCER
BATES 5, THOMAS 0: Lily Houser scored twice in the first half as the Bobcats (3-6-2) beat the Terriers (3-9-0) in Lewiston.

Shelby Howard also scored in the first half at 25:10 with an assist from Joanna Cloutier. Audrey Soss scored unassisted at 34:51 and Mollie Franklin found Grace Gesmondi with just over 22 minutes remaining.

Lauren Bartlett and Isabelle Lang combined for 11 saves for Thomas. Kat Nuckols (zero saves) and Ruby Reimann (one save) shared time in the Bates goal.
