PARIS — Did you know that now is the best time to plant many varieties of native seeds? Get your hands dirty with Oxford County Soil and Water Conservation District on Friday, November 5 from 3-4 p.m. during our interactive webinar “Grow Native: Native Plants and Winter Seeding”. Learn about the importance of native plants and their value to us and wildlife, such as pollinators, and plant your very own milkweed to support monarch butterflies!

We will have 25 planting kits available to reserve, with pots, milkweed seeds, and instructions for overwintering available for pick up beforehand at our South Paris office. Participants will also receive a list of native plants to help them plan their gardens for next year and will learn how to sow native seeds today to get a head start on next year’s
pollinator food.

We are asking for a $5 dollar donation to help support our programs and cover the cost of materials, but you may participate without a donation. Please register no later than Wednesday, November 3 at 4 p.m. EST. Late registrations are not guaranteed a spot.
