Mary McInnis

RUMFORD – Mrs. Mary McInnis, 81, died Monday Oct. 12, 2021 at the Hospice House in Auburn. She was a resident of Beliveau Road in Rumford.

Born in Rumford on July 15, 1940, she was a daughter of Alfred and Margaret (Milligan) Boucher, Sr. Mary was a graduate of Stephens High school in Rumford and worked at the Rumford High school in the lunch program. She enjoyed Hummell Figurines, word puzzles and spending time with her family.

Mary was an artistic crafter, especially enjoying holiday crafts and sewing. She enjoyed years of family trips and hosted many family reunions at her home. Mary was a beloved Aunt to her many nieces and nephews, avidly spoiling them with big hugs, tasty treats and “World Class” chocolate Whoopi pies. She loved babies and could often be found in a rocking chair with a baby in her arms and a huge smile on her face.

Mary was married in Rumford on July 16, 1960 to Richard McInnis who survives of Rumford. Other survivors include her sons, Patrick and wife Tanya of Readfield, Michael and wife Donna of Nashua, N.H.; grandchildren, Christopher, Joshua and Justin; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Richard Boucher and wife Bunny of Leeds, and Wayne Boucher and wife Karen of Michigan, sisters, Nancy Barker and husband George of Rumford and Linda Philbrick and husband John of Gorham. She was predeceased by a brother Alfred Boucher and a sister Joan Morrison.

Graveside services will be held 11:30 Thursday Oct. 21, 2021 at St John Cemetery in Rumford, ME. Arrangements are under the direction of the Meader & Son Funeral Home 3 Franklin St Rumford, ME
