I am writing in support of Paul Beaparlant for Ward 7 School Committee in Lewiston. I have taught with Paul for 5 years at Edward Little High School and know him to be a fine educator and active citizen in our community.
Normally, someone saying “been there, done that” is thought of as a negative. However, Paul has 43 years of teaching experience, and he literally has “been there and done that.” His no-nonsense style shows that he is focused on creating the best possible educational outcomes for all groups involved: students, staff, administrators and taxpayers.
Paul will always tell people what he thinks, and his ideas are well thought out. Taking into account his vast experience, I can’t think of a better person to help lead Lewiston education in the right direction.
