When I heard of Ryan Hawes, the first question I had was why I should vote for him for Auburn City Council.
It’s a valid question. And what makes him special? Will he support Auburn’s growth and stand for lowering our taxes? Does he believe that people should have the flexibility to do what they want on their own land as long as they don’t hurt their neighbors? Does he believe that smart government is small government?
Thankfully the answers are yes, yes, and yes. Ryan is a husband, a father, a combat Marine veteran, and a banker.
He gets it. He’s where many of us are, and he’s been on the frontlines. He understands.
And that makes me excited to see what his drive and determination will accomplish at Auburn City Hall.
