Ramon A. “Spike” Duchette

AUBURN – Ramon A. “Spike” Duchette, 86, of Mechanic Falls passed away on Thursday, Oct. 14, 2021 at the Hospice House. He was born in Mechanic Falls on August 13, 1935, the son of Wilfred and Blanche Davis Duchette.

Following high school, he faithfully served in the U. S. Marine Corps. On June 13, 1963, he married Jacqueline Devoe. He had been employed for many years as a machinist at Marcal Paper. He enjoyed fishing and woodworking. He was very crafty.

He is survived by his wife of Mechanic Falls; sons Kim and wife Angie Duchette and Raymond and wife Judy Duchette; stepson Lee Stetson and wife Lois; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his siblings Arlene, Helen, Pauline, Lena, Arthur, Carl, Wilfred and Pearl.

At his request there will be no services. Interment will be at Gracelawn Memorial Park in Auburn. Arrangements are under the care of Chandler Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, 26 W. Dwinal St., Mechanic Falls. Online condolences may be shared with his family at http://www.chandlerfunerals.com
