Albert Roberge

AUBURN – Albert Roberge, 72, of Auburn, passed away on Oct. 14, 2021, at Central Maine Medical Center. He was born on Dec. 15, 1948, the son of William Roberge and Philomene Jalbert. Albert attended and graduated from Lisbon High School, Class of 1969. After he graduated he signed up for the Navy and served for a short time. He lived in California for a short time before he came back home and resided in Litchfield. His first job was working at Worumbo Mill on Lisbon Falls and worked at several places, including Twin City Printing, Marcotte Nursing Home, Marshwood Healthcare Center, and the Lamp, before he landed a nursing job at Togus in Augusta, taking care of veterans for more than 25 years until he retired. His favorite hobbies were cooking and tending flowers and vegetable gardens. He also enjoyed spending time with friends and family and he was always the life of the party. Another hobby he enjoyed was the collection of family photos and videos for all his family and friends to enjoy. He is survived by his siblings, Linda Morris of Norway, Maine, William Roberge of Washington, Michael Jalbert of California and Corinne Rioux of Florida, also, nieces and nephews; Brian Morris, Lori Morris, Jesse Roberge, Aaron Roberge, and Amber Rioux, also, great nieces and nephews, Briana Morris, Karaline, Glada, Roman, and Chapman Roberge.He was predeceased by his parents, William Roberge, Philomene Jalbert and stepfather, Donat Jalbert.Burial services will take place at a later date.
