On election day, I will enthusiastically vote for Dana Staples for Auburn city councilor-at-large, confident that he would represent residents throughout our city with great dedication.
As chair of Auburn’s 2020 Comprehensive Plan Update Committee, Dana showed leadership that helped advance varied discussions about key issues for Auburn’s future. He currently serves on the Auburn Planning Board, the Auburn Parks and Recreational Advisory Board, and has served on numerous other city committees as well.
Dana earns the respect of others by learning as much as he can, listening attentively, and working diligently to find common ground among different perspectives — qualities significant to leadership at all levels.
As a board member of the Androscoggin Land Trust, I have greatly appreciated Dana’s support for our organization, which he extends to many other local nonprofits.
I hope Auburn residents will join me in voting for Dana Staples in November.
