I urge Maine voters to vote “yes” on referendum Question 2 on Nov. 2.
This $100 million transportation bond would increase to over $350 million with added federal, local and private funds. These funds would support improvements to roads, bridges, airports, marine and rail facilities, tourism, and recreation-related transportation facilities.
Thousands of good-paying jobs would be created for Maine people during the construction phase of these projects, and the improvements to various facilities would make Maine a safer and more efficient place to do business.
I ask people to take time Nov. 2 to go to the polls and vote “yes” on Question 2.
