I am pleased to write this letter to support Megan Parks for reelection to her at-large seat on the Lewiston School Committee.

I have known Megan for about five years now, during my time employed with Lewiston public schools. I was impressed by her positivity, energy, motivation and willingness to do what it takes to improve our school system and our community.

Megan’s tireless involvement in the community, such as with the homeless population community and being an advocate for recovery, shows that she is a woman of integrity who truly wants the best for Lewiston schools and the community.

For this reason, we need empathetic and inclusive leaders at the table who have a record of supporting staff, students and families. I want our Lewiston school district to thrive, and I’m confident that Mrs. Parks’ reelection will continue to do greater.
