The Auburn mayor is bulldozing the public while we’re going through a pandemic.

We have a mayor who is hellbent on getting over the questionable goal line with major rezoning that could change Auburn’s country-scape forever. Mayors should be working for all the people, not be obviously all in for pro-development, while claiming altruism.

Land will be torn asunder, fat cat houses will be built all over the place, and taxes will be raised, while having a very negative affect on the environment.

The residential-agricultural zones have been working terrifically for the most part. The tearing up of what has been on the books for a long time will only benefit developers and people that have big cash to buy. It is what it is.

The COVID-19 delta variant is reason enough to put this rush to change on hold, until we can leave survival mode and see clearly what is best for this town. The mayor and his cronies have different schemes.
