LEWISTON-AUBURN — Maine Event Comedy plans to present the second annual Bricks & Bridges Comedy Fest, Nov. 10-13. The event will take place in the twin cities over four days and feature 32 comedians from Maine to Michigan.

“The festival is a celebration of laughter in Lewiston-Auburn,” said Maine Event Comedy’s Mark Turcotte in a news release. “The L-A comedy scene has experienced significant growth over the past few years and I’m excited to showcase some of the best regional talent, as well as some out-of-state comics, who’ve made L-A their second comedy home.”

Wednesday’s show will take place in Auburn’s Craft Brew Underground, at 34 Court St. Over the next three nights, the Fest will move to Heritage Hall in Lewiston’s Gendron Franco Center, at 46 Cedar St. All shows will start at 7 p.m.

Highlights include the Fest kick-off on Wednesday, a Lewiston-Auburn Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce ribbon-cutting ceremony at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 11, and Stand Up! Records recording artist Jay Chanoine on Friday. Chanoine’s recent album “The Texas Chanoinesaw Massacre” debuted at the top of Amazon and Apple Music’s comedy charts.

The final day of the Fest will feature nationally touring stand-up Karen Morgan along with Detroit’s Jay Hunter. Morgan’s DryBar Comedy special has over 1.5 million views. She was also a finalist on Nick at Nite’s “Search for the Funniest Mom in America.” Hunter has performed at Hilarities in Cleveland and is a member of NewsFlash Writers Table of Grand Rapids, Michigan.
