Due to Friday’s heavy rain, all three football playoff games involving area teams have been postponed to Saturday.

Leavitt was the last to change its game day, deciding Friday morning to move the top-seeded Hornets’ (7-0) Class C South regional final showdown with second-seeded Cape Elizabeth (8-1) from Friday evening to Saturday at 3 p.m.

Earlier this week, No. 2 Oxford Hills (7-1) moved its Class A semifinal tilt with No. 3 Bonny Eagle (6-3) to 1 p.m. on Saturday at Gouin Athletic Complex in Paris.

In Class D, No. 2 Winthrop/Monmouth/Hall-Dale (6-1) earlier this week changed its semifinal matchup against No. 3 Freeport (6-2) to Saturday at 1 p.m.

The other Class D semifinal was slated for Saturday from the start. Fourth-seeded Oak Hill (5-2) travels to Dover-Foxcroft (9-0) to face top-seeded Foxcroft at 7 p.m.
