Recent Wreath making class

OXFORD — The following upcoming events will be happening at the Oxford Recreation Department’s Station House Community Center.

There will be a tree lighting on Sunday, November 28 at 4:30. Santa and the Mrs. will be visiting and giving the children a special gift made by Santa’s helpers. The event will also include hot cocoa, making S’mores in the fireplace, and Christmas caroling. The event will be held in the covered arena.

After the good turnout for our first wreath class, we will be hosting a class on December 1 from 6-9, cost is $12.50.

Create a Holiday Gnome on December 8 from 5:30 to 7:30 – the cost is $10.

Santa will be receiving letters to Santa at the Community Center from December 1 to December 15. Drop your letter inside the Center and receive a goodie bag from the elves. Make sure to write your return address so Santa can answer your letter!

On December 11 from 9 to 11 a.m. we will be giving out holiday ham dinners. This will be a curbside event. To receive a dinner, you must call 539-8094 by December 8. We are limited to 100 meals so make sure to call in your order to set your pickup time.

We will be having our annual Holiday Decorating contest, judging on December 19 after 6 p.m. Be sure to call 539-8094 or complete the registration on the Oxford Recreation Facebook page and send it to us.
