Tyler

This week’s featured dog needs a person with not only a big heart, but who also the ability to handle a dog that is reactive to other animals, and the desire to put in time and effort working with him and with the shelter, to help him.

Tyler, a 2-year-old mixed breed, came to us as a stray one year ago. Since then he has been struggling in the shelter environment. To the best of our ability, we have tried to keep him in quiet areas of the shelter away from other animals, but what he truly needs is a place away from the shelter, away from dogs and cats, where he can decompress and then begin a training program.

Responsible Pet Care is willing to help with all of this, but we need help to get Tyler into a dog-savvy foster home with no other animals and no children. If you think you are up for the challenge and want to learn how to work with a reactive dog, please email our trainer at libradogtraining.dawnmarie@gmail.com.
