BRIDGTON — Mike Davis of the Bridgton Historical Society plans to present one lecture per month from January through June on different topics relating to the history of Bridgton and the Lakes Region.

The January lecture will be the first of a two-part series on the history of Pleasant Mountain. The program will take place at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 9, at the Bridgton Community Center, 15 Depot St. The snow date is Jan. 16.

The program is open to the public and donations are accepted.
