Dog licenses were due by Dec. 31.  The state of Maine requires dogs to be licensed at 6 months of age or within 10 days of ownership.  You must show evidence of current rabies vaccination at the time of registration (yearly) and a spay/neuter certificate, if applicable. Fees are $6 for spayed/neutered dogs and $11 for unspayed/un-neutered dogs.  Please avoid the late fee of $25 per dog (in addition to the license fee) which would be applied after Jan. 31.
