Therese A. Morin

LEWISTON – Therese A. (Boucher) Morin, 88, went to meet her Lord and Savior on Jan. 12, 2022, at her home with her family by her side. She was born in Lewiston to Willie and Yvonne Boucher and resided in Lewiston her entire life.

She was employed at St. Mary’s Hospital for 52 years, during which time she met and then married, in 1953, her husband Charles Morin. Together they raised three sons. In her free time she loved to knit, crochet, dance and ice skate and enjoyed many bus excursions. She was also an avid Maineiacs fan and was known as the knitting lady in Section 5.

Therese is survived by her husband, Charles; and sons Maurice and Marcel (Carol). She is also survived by her grandchildren Derek (Michelle), Kristen (James), Kevin (Dianna) and Keith (Michelle); and great-grandchildren Lauren, Jake, Vaughn, Swindon and Welles. Her daughter-in-law, Donna; and sister, Liette Berube also survive.

She was predeceased by her son, Ronald; her parents; brothers Roger, Adrian (Joe) and Norman and two sisters, Muriel and Leonie.

Mr. Morin wishes to extend his thanks and appreciation to Heidi and the staffs of Androscoggin Home Healthcare and Hospice and Helping Hands.

A family memorial service will be held, with a public anniversary Mass and celebration of her life to be scheduled next year.
