PARIS — Sierra Carson scored 33 points to pace Oxford Hills to a resounding 48-30 win over Windham in a Class AA North girls basketball matchup Tuesday.

Carson scored 12 points in the first quarter — the only points of the period for Vikings (15-1) — and scored 10 more in a third quarter that saw the Vikings stretch their lead from 21-18 to 40-24. Ella Pelletier added seven points for the Vikings.

Sarah Talon led the Eagles (11-6) with 16 points.

OAK HILL 67, BUCKFIELD 19: Paige Gonya hit four 3-pointers for the Raiders (9-8) in a landslide win over the Bucks (1-13) in Wales.

Gonya totaled 20 points to lead all scorers. Oak Hill’s Amara Denis tacked on 12 points, while teammate Marielle Bean added in 10.

Buckfield’s Alyssa Litchfield led her team with six points.

GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 36, CAPE ELIZABETH 20: The Patriots (12-5) outscored the Capers (2-13) 12-6 in the third quarter on their way to a victory in Cape Elizabeth.

Isabelle Morelli scored 12 points for Gray-New Gloucester. Caitlin Taylor added 10 points.

Emily Supple had nine points for Cape Elizabeth.

HAMPDEN ACADEMY 50, LEWISTON 31: Camryn Neal led the Broncos (11-4) to a road victory over the Blue Devils (7-10) in Lewiston.

Neal paced Hampden with 13 points. Emma Haskell added in 12 points for the Broncos.

Natalie Beaudoin led Lewiston with 12 points and Koral Morin tallied 10.

BANGOR 47, EDWARD LITTLE 23: The Rams (10-5) ran away with the lead early and took home a Class AA North win over the Red Eddies (2-15) in Auburn.

Emi Streams hit four 3-pointers to lead all scorers with 12 points, while Bangor teammate Abbie Quinn added 11 in the win.

Edward Little’s Layla Facchiano paced the Red Eddies with eight points.

WAYNFLETE 36, ST. DOMINIC 31, OT: Lucy Hart and Jessica Connors combined to make 5 of 8 free throws in overtime to complete the Flyers’ (6-10) rally past the Saints (5-10) in Auburn.

Hart scored a game-high 19 points, including four 3-pointers. Connors added 10 points, with nine of those coming after halftime, when Waynflete trailed 18-9.

Jessica Zimmerman paced St. Dom’s with 16 points, and Ava and Charli Apodaca pitched in with six points apiece.

OCEANSIDE 60, LEAVITT 35: Bailey Breen scored 29 points, and undefeated Oceanside (15-0) pulled away in the second half to defeat Leavitt (1-15) in Turner.

Oceanside led just 21-18 at halftime before seizing control with a 39-17 advantage in the second half.

Katie Blouin scored 12 points for Leavitt, which scored just two 2-point baskets but hit eight 3-pointers.

BOYS BASKETBALL
OXFORD HILLS 67, WINDHAM 59:
 Nick Garrison’s career-high 32 points helped the Eagles (3-14) pull within six in the fourth, but the Vikings (13-3) pulled away for the win in Windham.

Teigan Pelletier led Oxford Hills with 26 points. Colby Dillingham and Eli Soehren had 13 points apiece.

Matthew Fox added 11 points for Windham.

MADISON 55, LISBON 37: The Bulldogs (9-7) pulled away in the second quarter for a key MVC victory over the Greyhounds (14-3) in Madison.

After taking a 17-12 lead into the second quarter, Madison outscored Lisbon 19-7 in the second frame to take command of the game. Callan Franzose scored a game-high 30 points for the Bulldogs.

Levi Tibbetts led the Greyhounds with 17 points and Mason Booker added nine.

OCEANSIDE 61, LEAVITT 47: Carter Galley scored 23 points to lead the Mariners (13-3) past the Hornets (11-6) in Rockland.

Alex Collins added 15 points for Oceanside, which has now won nine straight games.

Brett Coburn led Leavitt with 22 points.

WINTHROP 64, MOUNTAIN VALLEY 40: The Ramblers (14-3) had four players finish in double figures in an MVC road win over the Falcons (6-11) in Rumford.

Andrew Foster and Matt Beck scored 14 points apiece, Logan Baird was right behind with 13 and Brayden Stubbert added 11 for Winthrop.

Zach New paced Mountain Valley with 12 points and Airick Richard pitched in with 10.
