LIVERMORE — Fire heavily damaged a house Tuesday at 1664 Federal Road.
The house belongs to Steve Harlow, Town Clerk Renda Guild said.
The cause is being investigated by the Office of the State Fire Marshal, Fire Chief Don Castonguay said Tuesday evening, adding that flames erupted later Tuesday.
Firefighters from multiple towns responded to the scene, which is on Route 4 near Butter Hill Road. The fire was reported at 4 p.m. Flames could be seen coming from near the gable ends.
The American Red Cross was called.
