Keegan

Keegan has one question: “Why haven’t I been adopted yet?”
“We don’t know, Keegan. You are quite a catch. Handsome, debonair…the epitome of feline awesomeness.”

If you come in to our cageless community cat room and take a seat, you’ll see Keegan checking you out. First, he’ll circle you from a distance a time or two. Then he’ll get closer. He’ll roll on his back a few times and see what your reaction is. If you gently invite him, he’ll come in for a few rubs. Purring will commence.

If he really likes you, he’ll come up on your lap for a bit. Then he may be on his way again. When you’ve won him over, he’s affectionate but not smothering. At five years old he knows what he likes and doesn’t waste his time with things that don’t bring him joy. You don’t find that kind of wisdom every day. He gets along great with cats who want to be friends.

He acts appropriately with cats who prefer their space. He’s just a cool dude. If you’d like to meet Keegan and see what he thinks of you, you can visit during our open hours (Friday, Saturday, Sunday 12-4 p.m.) or make an appointment for a different day.
