After two years off, the Lewiston Farmers’ Market’s annual Spaghetti Squash Dinner is back — takeout style.
People can order online at lewistonfarmersmarket.com for pick up between 4 and 6 p.m. Sunday, April 24, at the St. Mary’s Nutrition Center, 208 Bates St., Lewiston; home delivery also is available.
The meal will be full of local, seasonal, fresh ingredients. The evening’s menu will include spaghetti and meatballs (including spaghetti squash), creamy carrot soup, spring salad with pea-shoots, butter-y dinner rolls, and assorted cupcakes, according to a news release from the farmers’ market.
People cam choose a single meal or packages for parties of two, three, or four people.
There also are gluten free and vegan options; email [email protected] with any food-related questions.
Dinner supporters can choose to buy a meal for a neighbor or sign up for a meal in exchange for volunteer hours to help the Lewiston Farmers’ Market kick off the season.
All proceeds go to benefit Lewiston Farmers’ Market growth and programming, including the Seniors and Veterans program.
