NORWAY — Stephens Memorial Hospital will hold its eighth annual SMH Run for Wellness 5K on Sunday, June 5.

This is a great family event and all levels of ability are welcome to come and walk or run, for the health of it.

Registration will be open from 7:30 to 8:45 a.m.; the run will start at 9 a.m. in front of the Ripley Medical Office Building at 193 Main St. It will finish in the same location.

The entry fee is $15 per person, if registered prior to race day. Race day registration is $20. Prizes will be awarded to the top three male and top three female finishers.

SMH will also have a Kids Fun Run prior to the 5K. Kids ages 12 and under are invited to participate at no cost. Everyone is a winner in the Kids Fun Run and the purpose of this race is to encourage kids to come out and get active. The Fun Run is approximately one mile and will begin at 8:15 a.m. (race day registration only).
